Information technology
The Department of Information Technology (IT) was established in 2000 and
it has been an integral part of the institute since its inception. The Department
is privileged to equip the students to acquire technical expertise in the
field of Information Technology, to enhance the social responsibilities
of the students necessary for the successful practice of the profession
and to prepare them for the performance needed to navigate among the opportunities
abounding in today's world of internet and e-revolution.
Goals and Objectives:
In response to the growing need for innovation and computing professionals
in industry, government, and academic institutions, the Information Technology
Department offers program in the objective of:
• producing qualified and well-rounded Information System
professionals that are technically competent to design and develop technological
solutions for the information needs of industry, government and academe;
• establishing local leadership in the field of Information
Systems and Instructional Systems education in the country;
Course Offered:
Department of Information technology offers 3 year diploma course
in Information technology . It was started in 2000 under RGTU & having
intake of 60 student.
