Electronics & Telecommunication

The Department of Electronics Engineering offers a course of six semester leading to a diploma in Electronics &   telecommunication Engineering. The Diploma course was started in 1995 under RGTU,Bhopal & having intake of 60 student.
The department has a large faculty comprising of senior experienced staff along with young and energetic members, all fully devoted to their common goal of providing the best possible and effective education and training to students. Experts and consultants from the industry are also invited regularly to deliver lectures for specialized subjects

Laboratories
Practical knowledge and application capability are essential for engineering students. Well equipped and well maintained laboratories are a key feature of the electronics department of GWPC. GWPC have both the basic and advanced level electronics laboratories.

Basic Lab
In the basic lab GWPC focus on training in handling electronic equipment, construction of small electronic circuits, and the detection of defects and faults in simple electronic systems. Our lab is equipped with  Power Supplies, Signal generators and all the types of electronic components. This lab helps students to acquire a firm foundation in practical electronics.

Advanced Lab

                                
This is one of the distinguished features of the course GWPC offer. The advanced lab ensures that students get to know the best and the latest trends in the global electronics world. Students work with micro controllers, Digital trainer kits and Communication Trainer Kits. They also interface the working models with micro controller. The projects of students are based on these advanced systems and their programming. Following list shows a Short Overview of Equipments Available in Advanced Lab:-

In order to have Optimum use of both Human & Space Resources for benefit of Students, Electronics Department also include Physics, Chemistry & Workshop Labs. All three Labs are Equipped with finest equipment.

Scope of Electronics Engineering
Diverse opportunities await students who successfully complete the electronics diploma course. The successful students have the option either for job opportunities or for higher studies in Engineering Colleges.

Job opportunities
Diploma holders in electronics could find placement both in the Government sector and in the private sectors. In the Government sector diploma holders are absorbed by enterprises like, Keltron, BSNL, ISRO, DRDO, Railway, LPSC, Technical Education Department, Military Services etc. In the private sector students have a wide range of choice from companies like HCL, Wipro, Infosys, and from companies established in Technoparks.
A remarkable feature of our college is that Campus selection is conducted in the College every year by companies and students are selected by companies even before the results are out.

Higher Studies

The electronics diploma holder can get lateral entry into B.Tech degree in Engineering colleges or can go for AMIE.
